At Infinity, we offer two program types to fit the various needs of our dance family!
Recreational Dance
September - June
Laid back, educational, fun!
Recreational dance classes are at the heart of Infinity Dance Studio's mission. Our recreational classes are designed with a combination of styles in a class scheduled once a week to fit in your busy schedule! Our style is perfect for dancers who are involved in more than one activity or dancers and families who desire an easy going environment. We provide seating for observers inside our studios and welcome families to sit inside our studios to watch their dancer’s classes anytime. Professional instruction is provided for all of our dancers ages 3-18. Classes must have 6 enrolled by start date to go.

Auditions in Late June
Infinity Dance Studio is excited to offer a competition company for dancers 2nd Grade and older. Infinity Dance Company is for dancers who are ready to take their dance skills to a competitive level. This program requires a heightened level of dedication and multiple classes/week. Company dancers are required to enroll in Company Turns and Leaps, Company Rehearsal class and the combo class for their age group.
Classes We Offer by Age
Infinity believes in exposing dancers to a variety of dance styles to encourage a well rounded exploration of movement, dance techniques and dance history and culture. Below, find our different class and company options by age.
Ages 2-3
Toddler Tumble
30 minute class
Our Toddler Tumble class focuses on gross motor development in a fun, fast paced environment. Dancers will be exposed to beginning dance and tumble skills while playing games and utilizing manipulatives like slinkies, ribbon dancers and egg shakers to explore movement.
Toddler Tumble performs in our Christmas Gala but does not perform in our summer recital.
Class must have 6 enrolled by September 1 to go.
Preschool (Ages 3-5)
Preschool Combo Class
Tap and Ballet
30 minute class
Dancers in Preschool Combo receive instruction in beginning ballet and tap skills and concepts, while also exploring movement through games and age appropriate e activities.
Preschool combo performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 2 dances (tap and ballet) in our summer recital.
Preschool Hip Hop
30 minute class
Dancers in Preschool Hip Hop learn beginning skills and techniques associated with hip hop dance.Hip Hop is a single style class, focusing on strength, movement quality and style.
Preschool hip hop performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 1 dance in our summer recital.
Kindergarten - 1st Grade
K/1 Combo
Tap and ballet

Dancers in Kindergarten and 1st grade Combo receive instruction in beginning ballet and tap..
K/1 combo performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 2 dances (tap and ballet) in our summer recital.
K/1 Hip Hop
45 minute class
Dancers in Kindergarten Hip Hop learn beginning skills and techniques associated with hip hop dance.Hip Hop is a single style class, focusing on strength, movement quality and style.
K/1 hip hop performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 1 dance in our summer recital.
2nd and 3rd Grade
2/3 Combo
Tap and Jazz

Dancers in 2nd and 3rd grade Combo receive instruction in beginning jazz and tap..
2/3 combo performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 2 dances (tap and jazz) in our summer recital.
2/3 Hip Hop
45 minute class
Dancers in 2/3 grade Hip Hop learn beginning skills and techniques associated with hip hop dance.Hip Hop is a single style class, focusing on strength, movement quality and style.
2/3 hip hop performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 1 dance in our summer recital.
Mini Company
In 2nd and 3rd grade, dancers may elect to enroll in mini company. This is our youngest competitive company. It is a low cost, low commitment team that competes one dance twice locally in Topeka. No audition is required. Dancers are encouraged to enroll by July 1st.
4th and 5th Grade
4/5 Combo
Tap and Lyrical
45 minute class
Dancers in 4th and 5th grade Combo receive instruction in beginning lyrical and tap with additional instruction in ballet techniques.
4/5 combo performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 2 dances (tap and jazz) in our summer recital.
4/5 Hip Hop
45 minute class
Dancers in 4/5 grade Hip Hop learn beginning skills and techniques associated with hip hop dance.Hip Hop is a single style class, focusing on strength, movement quality and style.
2/3 hip hop performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 1 dance in our summer recital.
Mini Company or Infinity Dance Company
Dancers in 4th and 5th grade may elect to audition for Infinity Dance Company. Company auditions are in late June. Dancers in 4th grade may elect to join our no audition required Mini Company.
6th and 7th Grade
6/7 Combo
Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Lyrical
90 minute class
Dancers in 6/7 grade Combo receive instruction in tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical.
6/7 combo performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 4 dances (tap and jazz) in our summer recital.
6/7 Hip Hop
45 minute class
Dancers in 6/7 grade Hip Hop learn beginning skills and techniques associated with hip hop dance. Hip Hop is a single style class, focusing on strength, movement quality and style. Dancers also receive instruction in higher level hip hop tricks.
6/7 hip hop performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 1 dance in our summer recital.

Dancers in 6th and 7th grade may elect to audition for Infinity Dance Company. Company auditions are in late June.
8th - 12th Grade
8-12 Grade Combo
90 minute class
Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Lyrical
Dancers in 8-12 grade Combo receive instruction in tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical. Our 8th - 12th grade class is split into 2 sections by age.
8-12 combo performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 4 dances (tap and jazz) in our summer recital.
8-12 Grade Hip Hop
45 minute class
Dancers in 8-12 grade Hip Hop learn beginning skills and techniques associated with hip hop dance. Hip Hop is a single style class, focusing on strength, movement quality and style. Dancers also receive instruction in higher level hip hop tricks. 8-12 grade hip hop is split into 2 sections. Ages are flexed.
8-12 hip hop performs in our Christmas Gala and performs 1 dance in our summer recital.
Infinity Dance Company
Dancers in 8th - 12th grade may elect to audition for Infinity Dance Company. Company auditions are in late June.
Shoe RequirementsStudents are also required to purchase shoes for each style of dance in which they are enrolled. Color and style of shoes will be determined during the Fall semester. Dance shoes can be purchased online, or at various stores in Topeka, like Footlights, Payless, Walmart and Academy Sports+Outdoors.Students enrolled in hip hop are alseo required to buy matching tennis shoes. Shoes are ordered in December.
